Graduation Day!
Its hard to believe that my son Adam is graduating from the University of North Carolina in Wilmington today. Some of our family gathered downtown Wilmington last night to celebrate his achievement and let him know how proud we are of him. Today is the actual graduation ceremony and then Cody (his brother) is having a cook out party for him at his house. I’m staying at a great little condo looking out at the ocean in Carolina Beach. Going to take a swim after this post and then get myself ready to head out to UNCW and find a parking spot for the graduation event.
Adam and the Family + Waitress
This is a very special day for all of us. The past 6 years have seen many hills and valley’s for us all - one thing I must say - Adam never quite even when things in his life were difficult - He is my #1 son and I am a very proud Dad today and everyday for that matter. It seems God has been watching over us all through the good times and the bad.
Robin, Adam and I at the Phoenex Restaurant
This would have never been possibly without the support and prayers from so many people in our family - especially my folks, Robin, his Uncles Greg and Terry.
The graduation ceremony at UNCW went fantastic and we were all so very proud of Adam. The party afterwards was a blast and the beer I brewed (Adam’s Graduation Ale) was a big hit. The following are a few photos from the party. His brother Cody did a great job cooking the pork and coleslaw.
The Adam Graduation Ale was a BIG HIT!
