Antonio Campanella - Sicilian Photographer
I met Antonio Campanella when I was in Sicily attending a painting workshop and visiting my daughter Andei. Andei’s step-dad Robert introduced me to him while I was in Cefalu. He had brought some portfolio’s with him so we spent an hour or so looking at his black % white street photographs. The first impression I had of Antonio’s photographs was the work reminded me of Henri Cartier Bresson.
This series of photographs is a cross section of Antonio’s photographs. This is a first in a series of monthly photographers and artists I want to feature on my Blog. I am honored to kick of this new feature on my Blog with Antonio’s unique and intuitive images. He certainly has a great eye and has that special talent for anticipating those decisive moments in life.
enjoy!
