Snapshots
I’m not one to spend much time on the beach due to my light skin and propensity for getting sunburn, however I made an exception yesterday when I got a call from my friend (and financial adviser) Henry to go out on his boat for some fishing & boating around the coast. I lathered on the 50+ sunscreen and found a pair of my son Adam’s board shorts and met Henry at a local marina.
Needless to say we had an absolute blast just cruising around fishing, swimming – sipping a few cold ones and hanging out at Shackleford Banks with some other friends.
It’s great (and healthy) to forget about all the demands from work and life every once and awhile and just have fun and enjoy the day!
Yes…life is good especially when you have a few friends (and a good cigar) to share those especial times with.
Ok…it’s back to work for me because I missed an entire day yesterday of posting comments to my 250+ students that I teach online
Uhhg! Back to the grind. Oh…and I’ve still got another painting to finish up…..there is just not enough hours in the day.
I like to keep my little point and shoot close by and photograph those little moments in life that are just plain simple and fun. These are just snapshots – not art photography. Enjoy! Here are some from a golf outing with the guys from Churchill’s Cigar Shop. Click on each thumbnail image to enlarge it.

Yo Bro
This is the first time I have been able to sit and really take a look at the world of blogging. Since our meeting I have made some entries in my blog but I see looking at yours that it is something you create from your world. I find it to be awesome. Our lives are so short and you seem to be capturing every moment that you experience; that is great.
You were on my heart and I wanted you to know that you are one of few people that I call friend and fewer that I call brother. Keep on doing what you do, God has you in His strong hand, and He loves you. I just wanted to send you words of emcouragement. Grace and peace to you, Charles July 5, 2010
Thanks so much for the words of encouragement Charles. Your a great friend as well and I appreciate the good thoughts. I can always use them! Good luck with your writing class this fall!
My BOYS made me proud: Drunk as a SKUNK
One got bit by a bee, other couldn’t drive, a third got to pay 52.00 dollars for a case of Bud Light, and the rest no comment! Love it
Can’t wait til I go with them next time, can’t wait
