A Weekend in Philadelphia with Andei

I flew into Philadelphia yesterday to meet my daughter Andei who “unfortunately” had to fly back from Italy to personally pick-up her student Visa at the Italian Consulate. The visa saga has been going on for close to 5 months now so when we realized they weren’t going to mail it to us, her Mom and I got her a round trip ticket to Philly for her to pick it up. Since Andei was going to be in the states for a long weekend I’ve flow up as well and we got a hotel downtown. We’ve been enjoying the sites and cultural attractions this historic city has to offer. This morning Andei and I spent about 4 hours first at the City Market and then roaming downtown photographing and searching for art galleries and funky thrift shops – some of Andei’s little vices. We also had a wonderful Italian dinner last night at a great Italian Restaurant to celebrate her finally getting her Visa for college in Italy. Here are some photos I’ve taken so far…the architecture here is amazing.
