Airlie Gardens Photo Field Trip

The entire Photography Program closed up shop the other day and we all (students and teachers) went on a photo field trip to Airlie Gardens in Wilmington, NC. It was so good to get off campus and spend an entire day making photographs at a very beautiful and scenic nature park.  Photography rejuvenates me!  The minute I started walking around making photographs through the gardens I felt my stress level take a nose dive. It was a very enjoyable and therapeutic day – at least for me.  I’m so blessed to be able to teach something I truly love and am passionate about. Hard to believe I get paid to bring students to a beautiful place and make pictures. I took over 100 images and edited them down to this little slide show.  Enjoy!
