Thoughts on Life, Art, Photography, Technology, Teaching and Travel…..
This past weekend I coordinated and led a Photo Walk for photographers living and working in the Easter North Carolina area. We met in Beaufort, North Carolina and spent a great afternoon in search of unique and visually interesting photographs. The Photo Walk was also meant to showcase photographers in Eastern North Carolina and give them a opportunity to photographically explore the coastal region of North Carolina.
We were blessed with great weather and good light for our photo excursion through the Beaufort area. I must admit one of my favorite things in life is having an opportunity to make photographs and sharing that passion with other like minded photographers makes the creative photographic experience even more gratifying.
The following are the winners of this years Eastern North Carolina Photo Walk. First place went to Corey Cannon. The pictures were judged by retired Photography Instructor from Carteret Community College Cathy Crowell who has been teaching photography for over 30 years and is an accomplished photographer in her own right.
These winning photographs will be showcased and displayed at this years Art Walk in Morehead City on December 5th.
